KKR vs SRH Match Result: The thrill of IPL 2025 continues and on Thursday (April 3), the 15th match was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad, the two finalists of last season. Fans were hoping that perhaps the Sunrisers Hyderabad batsmen would show their terror in this match, but this did not happen and they could not do anything in front of Kolkata bowlers and the team collapsed without playing the full overs.
Due to this, the Pat Cummins-led team had to face a big defeat by 80 runs in the match. In the match held at Eden Gardens, the home team Kolkata Knight Riders scored 200/6 in 20 overs while playing first, in response to which Sunrisers Hyderabad were all out for 120 in 16.4 overs.

KKR vs SRH: Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and took advantage of the new ball and gave two big blows to Kolkata Knight Riders, who came to bat first, in the beginning. Opener Quinton de Kock got out after scoring 1 and his partner Sunil Narine got out after scoring 7 runs. From here, the work of handling the innings was done by Ajinkya Rahane along with young Angkrish Raghuvanshi. Both of them made a half-century partnership and took the score close to 100. Rahane played an innings of 38 runs in 27 balls, while Raghuvanshi contributed 50 runs in 32 balls.
KKR vs SRH: After the dismissal of both of them, the pair of Venkatesh Iyer-Rinku Singh attacked the Hyderabad bowlers and scored runs in a rapid manner. For the first time in the season, Venkatesh and Rinku did wonders, due to which KKR was successful in scoring 200. Venkatesh played an innings of 60 runs in 29 balls, while Rinku remained unbeaten after scoring 32 runs in 17 balls. Five bowlers from SRH took one wicket each.

KKR vs SRH: Chasing the target, Travis Head started the innings with a four for Sunrisers Hyderabad but then got out on the very next ball. His partner Abhishek Sharma disappointed once again and he too got out after scoring 2 runs. Ishan Kishan also flopped and only 2 runs came from his bat. Nitish Reddy contributed 19 and Kamindu Mendis contributed 27 runs. Heinrich Klaasen played some big shots but as soon as he got out, Hyderabad’s defeat was certain. Klaasen played an innings of 33 runs with the help of two fours and two sixes in 21 balls. Captain Pat Cummins scored 14 runs. Vaibhav Arora and Varun Chakraborty took three wickets each for KKR.
