Rahane dismissed speculation that the high bid added pressure. \u201cSomeone’s not going to work doubly harder if he’s getting 20-plus crore, or work less if he\u2019s getting 1 or 2 crore,\u201d Rahane said. \u201cFor cricketers, it\u2019s always about focusing on what we can control and maintaining the right attitude.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He praised Iyer\u2019s mindset throughout the season: \u201cHis attitude was fantastic. He was always looking to contribute to the team, both on and off the field.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
