The moment quickly went viral, sparking memes and speculation about what had prompted the outburst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on JioHotstar, Rohit Sharma explained the context behind the remark. On the second day of the Test \u2014 which India went on to win \u2014 he noticed his players showing a lack of urgency at a crucial juncture. \u201cIt was in Vizag. I saw the over end, and the players were leisurely walking as if they were in a garden. No one was running. There was no urgency in the field,\u201d said Rohit, who was fielding in the slips as spinners operated from both ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that the team had already lost the first Test in Hyderabad, making the Vizag match even more critical. \u201cThe game was hanging by a loose thread. I had told the players in the morning that we need to put in some extra effort, but they were having fun on the ground,\u201d Rohit recalled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
