Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batting coach Michael Hussey<\/strong> is staying positive about the team\u2019s chances of reaching the IPL 2025 playoffs<\/strong><\/a>, even though they\u2019re going through a very tough time. On April 11<\/strong>, CSK lost their fifth match in a row<\/strong>, which is their worst streak ever in IPL history<\/strong>. They are now ninth in the standings<\/strong>, just slightly ahead of Sunrisers Hyderabad<\/strong> because of a better net run rate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, with eight matches left<\/strong>, Hussey believes CSK can still make it into the top four<\/strong> by the time the league phase ends. After the big loss to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)<\/strong>, he said, \u201cWe\u2019re not giving up yet. In a long tournament like the IPL, it\u2019s all about gaining momentum. If we can turn things around and win a few games, anything can happen.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He admitted that CSK have not been playing good cricket lately and accepted the team’s poor form<\/a>. But he still believes there\u2019s time to bounce back. \u201cMomentum can shift quickly in cricket. We\u2019re working hard, and if we get a few wins, confidence will come back,\u201d<\/em> he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
