After being put in to bat first, Rajasthan Royals were powered by Nitish Rana\u2019s explosive 81 off just 36 balls, featuring 10 boundaries and five sixes.<\/a> Captain Riyan Parag provided crucial support with a steady 37, helping RR set a competitive target of 182\/9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For CSK, Noor Ahmad and Khaleel Ahmed impressed with two wickets each, while Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja chipped in with one apiece. A dropped catch by Jamie Overton early in Shimron Hetmyer\u2019s innings proved costly, potentially adding 10-12 extra runs to RR\u2019s total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, after a wide on the first delivery, Dhoni was dismissed on Sandeep Sharma\u2019s next legal ball, courtesy of a stunning catch by Hetmyer. His 16 off 11 wasn\u2019t enough, as CSK<\/a> fell short by six runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dhoni\u2019s inability to close out the game sparked criticism on social media, with many calling for his IPL retirement to pave the way for younger talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
