However, in the auction, he put all his strength to buy this all-rounder. <\/a>KKR was successful in buying Venkatesh for Rs 23.75 crore. Venkatesh was the third most expensive player sold in the auction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Delhi Capitals tried their best to bring him, but Punjab did not give up chasing him till the end. <a href=\"https:\/\/e2bangladesh.com\/index.php\/2025\/02\/15\/yuzvendra-chahal\/\">Finally Punjab Kings succeeded in buying Shreyas. Rishabh Pant<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LSG broke Punjab&#8217;s record soon after and made Rishabh Pant the most expensive player in IPL history.
