Team India Squad For England Tour: The Indian team has to play a five-match Test series on the England tour in June-July. For this, the BCCI announced the Indian team’s squad on Saturday. A total of 18 players have been selected in the squad for the England tour, which is a mix of young and experienced players.
Indian team: The team will be led by new Test captain Shubman Gill, while Rishabh Pant will be seen as his deputy. As expected, Karun Nair has returned, who has been selected after almost 8 years. At the same time, Shardul Thakur has also got a chance. Apart from this, the luck of Sai Sudarshan and Arshdeep Singh has also shone and both of them have also been selected.

Indian team: Apart from Gill, Pant, Sudarshan and Nair, Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Abhimanyu Easwaran are also included in the batting department, while Dhruv Jurel has been selected as the second wicketkeeper. However, batsman Sarfaraz Khan, who was part of the squad on the Australia tour, has been ignored.
Five specialist fast bowlers selected along with four all-rounders
India has kept a total of four all-rounders in its squad for the series against England. Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar have been selected as spin all-rounders. At the same time, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Shardul Thakur will be the option of pace all-rounder.
Apart from this, five specialist fast bowlers have also been selected, which include Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Akashdeep, Prasidh Krishna and Arshdeep Singh. However, Harshit Rana missed out on making the place, who made his Test debut on the Australia tour. Apart from this, Mohammed Shami has also not been included. Shami may have problems in bowling long spells, which is why he was ignored. Kuldeep Yadav has got a place in the squad as the only specialist spinner.
