Jasprit Bumrah Criticized and Labeled 'Not As Great A Human' After Controversial Act in SRH vs MI Clash

Jasprit Bumrah faced criticism for not checking on Abhinav Manohar after the latter was struck by a fast delivery from him. Bumrah’s return to action in IPL 2025 has seen Mumbai Indians (MI) secure three consecutive wins. However, the 31-year-old pacer came under scrutiny for his on-field conduct during the match between MI and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). After Manohar hit him for a six, Bumrah responded with a fast, near waist-high full toss that struck the batter, causing him to collapse to the ground. Despite this, Bumrah walked back to his mark without offering any concern for Manohar’s condition, a move that was criticized by fans.

Bowling the 13th over, Bumrah was hit for a six by Manohar on the second delivery. On the very next ball, Bumrah aimed for a yorker, but it turned into a full toss that struck Manohar, sending him crashing to the ground.

However, instead of checking on Manohar, Bumrah simply walked back to his mark.
