Delhi Capitals (DC) had a mixed campaign in IPL 2024, finishing sixth in the league stage with 14 points from 14 matches. Despite an inconsistent season, the franchise discovered promising young talents in Jake Fraser-McGurk and Abhishek Porel.
As the Indian Premier League (IPL) gears up for its 18th edition, the tournament will begin on March 22, with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Kolkata. The final is set to take place at the same venue on May 25.
DC will play their seven home matches across two venues—two games at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam and five at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Their IPL 2025 campaign will begin on March 24 against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Visakhapatnam.
DC will face Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and Gujarat Titans (GT) twice. Meanwhile, they will play Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and Punjab Kings (PBKS) once.
Notably, DC will face CSK and PBKS only in away fixtures.
